Description:
Marquis Who’s Who, a leader in professional biographical data for over 125 years, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our remote sales team. This role offers the opportunity to work with highly accomplished professionals who are in the final stages of consideration for inclusion in our prestigious registry. You will play a key part in conducting in-depth phone interviews, highlighting their career achievements, and offering additional branding and visibility solutions to support their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make 50–100 outbound calls daily to qualified leads provided by the company
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to assess candidate eligibility and uncover needs for additional products and services
- Achieve a “one-call close” by advising and securing sales during the same conversation
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly revenue and closing targets
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in the company’s CRM system
- Follow established scripts, guidelines, and procedures to ensure consistent quality
Requirements:
- Proven sales skills, including need identification and objection handling
- Strong closing ability and goal-oriented mindset
- Exceptional communication, listening, and persuasion abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and virtual communication tools (Zoom, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup with a dedicated workspace and required equipment
- High-volume work capacity with 3–5 hours of talk time daily and consistent follow-ups
- Willingness to adhere to fixed work hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm EST, Friday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm EST (occasional earlier start during first 13 weeks)
- Stable, high-speed internet connection and compatible computer system (Windows 10+ or Mac OS 10.15+, 8GB RAM, dedicated headset, and webcam)
- Must pass a background check
