Description:
TechOnPurpose (TOP) is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. This role offers unlimited earning potential in the rapidly expanding fields of IT, telecommunications, and cybersecurity. Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Account Executive will sell TOP’s comprehensive suite of services, known as the 5Cs—computing, collaboration, contracting, connectivity, and cybersecurity—to selected clients within assigned territories.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a growing portfolio of satisfied direct clients aligned with the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
- Support in-territory partners to drive partner growth and sales success.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Support teams to develop and deliver technology solutions and proposals.
- Work closely with sales management and peers to achieve shared success and high closing rates across new direct and partner customers.
- Partner with Customer Experience teams to expand client relationships and upsell additional products/services.
- Coordinate with PMO and Service Delivery teams for smooth customer transitions from pre- to post-sales.
- Conduct sales needs analyses with prospective clients and create client-centric solutions.
- Generate new leads via calls, site visits, networking, and industry events.
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery and site surveys to assess serviceability.
- Maintain CRM systems to accurately report sales activity and customer information.
- Collaborate with sales support and marketing teams as required.
- Attend sales and company meetings, training sessions, and achieve/exceed new business revenue quotas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience.
- Broad knowledge of at least three of the TOP 5Cs, with cybersecurity preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to understand technology concepts.
- Highly organized self-starter thriving in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
