Upwind Security, a next-generation Cloud Security Platform, is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Account Executive to join our team. Our platform leverages runtime context to identify and prioritize critical risks, delivering precise insights and efficient cloud security management. Upwind stands out by using proactive runtime data for risk prioritization and posture insights, ensuring teams focus on what truly matters. With eBPF-powered sensors, we provide agentless cloud posture discovery, real-time threat protection, and integrated API security, covering everything from misconfigurations to malware defense.
We are looking for a motivated sales professional who can build meaningful relationships with customers, understand their business objectives, and drive deals to close. This is a field sales role available to qualified candidates in the greater NYC area.
✅ Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate new business pipeline and exceed revenue targets
- Engage with C-level executives and technical stakeholders to position Upwind’s solutions effectively
- Partner with technical teams to ensure seamless integration and accelerate time-to-value for clients
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, business case creation, and ROI justification
- Collaborate with Upwind channel partners and ecosystem to expand market reach
- Manage contract negotiations through to successful closure
✅ Requirements:
- Proven success in driving and closing enterprise deals
- Ability to sell to both C-level executives and technical stakeholders in Cloud, Security, or DevOps environments
- Consistent achievement of quota and revenue targets with strong W2 history
- Experience with qualification methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) and disciplined sales processes
- Strong forecasting and reporting skills, data-driven approach to SFDC hygiene
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment
- Solid understanding of cloud security concepts, technologies, and trends preferred
