Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and empathetic Academic Counsellor to join our UAE team. The successful candidate will support students’ academic and career development through personalised guidance, help them make informed course and admission choices, and act as a trusted point of contact for families and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group academic and career counselling to students.
- Advise students on course selection, admission procedures, and long-term career planning.
- Motivate and mentor students to improve performance and achieve personal and academic goals.
- Coordinate with parents and educational institutions to ensure smooth academic transitions and follow-ups.
- Keep accurate records of counselling sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred; outstanding fresh graduates with excellent English communication may be considered.
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and mentoring abilities; able to build rapport with students and parents.
- Organised, proactive, and student-focused approach.
