Ansira is seeking a dedicated and results-driven A/R Collection Specialist to support its fast-paced and continuously growing organization. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and plays a key role in overseeing and collecting accounts receivable from clients. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting needs, and processing journal entries that impact the general ledger.
As this is a remote role, candidates must be comfortable working independently from a secure, private home workspace free from distractions. The ideal professional will demonstrate strong judgment, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision. A positive mindset, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure are essential to meet daily and monthly performance goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Monitoring customer accounts daily to identify overdue balances and required follow-ups
- Collaborating closely with internal business teams and cross-functional departments to resolve unpaid invoices
- Identifying delinquent receivables and escalating collection concerns when necessary
- Participating in meetings to present aging reports and receivable trends via Teams or Zoom
- Taking proactive steps to improve payment timelines, reduce DSO, and minimize aged balances
- Addressing customer credit-related issues with professionalism and accuracy
- Communicating directly with clients regarding overdue invoices and payment arrangements
- Preparing detailed reports on collection activities and overall progress
- Assisting with bad debt write-offs and reserve allowance adjustments
- Supporting reconciliation tasks and reserve calculations as required
