Alliance Wealth Management Group is seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented Remote Help Desk Support Coordinator to join our team. This is a fully remote position that allows you to provide technical support and ensure smooth operations for our staff and clients. As a Help Desk Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, managing support requests, and providing outstanding customer service.

The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, an excellent communicator, and capable of managing multiple support tickets and tasks in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our internal teams to resolve IT-related challenges and improve overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to internal staff and clients via phone, email, or chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Log and track all technical support requests, ensuring accurate documentation of each issue and resolution.
  • Coordinate and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate departments or third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Offer remote solutions and guidance on using various software, tools, and systems effectively.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up systems, software, and accounts.
  • Monitor the status of open support tickets, ensuring that all requests are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Conduct routine system checks and maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems.
  • Educate staff on best practices for using technology, maintaining security protocols, and preventing IT issues.
  • Stay current on new software, tools, and technologies to recommend improvements to internal processes and systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism when handling support requests.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred).
  • Proven experience in IT support, help desk coordination, or customer service roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve hardware and software issues remotely.
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) and office software (Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Jira).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
  • Experience in financial services or wealth management industry is a plus, but not required.

Additional Skills

  • Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols.
  • Experience with cloud-based systems and remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on providing timely and effective solutions.
