Description:

The Head of Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of departmental managers.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Handles overall discipline, decorum and upholds company culture as needed and in accordance with the company policy.
  • Participates in the hiring of departmental managers

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Improves client service, satisfaction and retention through constant relationship building and policy changes.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures to keep abreast of overall P&L.
  • Oversees production, purchasing, estimation, projects and business development departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by company leadership.
  • Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and project costs to achieve the company’s financial objectives.
  • Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to the team for any changes, meets with entire team to explain procedures, answer questions, and maintain overall morale.
  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts among production, design, projects, and business development to produce a smoother workflow with cost-effective business processes.
  • Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the companys efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.    
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in business and finance.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of having handled a large team
  • Previous experience in luxury fit out or joinery industry is a must
  • Updated with Current Industry Norms , Well Travelled , Well connected
  • International ( Outside GCC Experience) a Plus
