Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team to prepare delicious meals according to our standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu development. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, and inventory control. You will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with various cooking techniques, including grilling, frying, and sautéing.
Requirements:
- Prepare all menu items according to the restaurant’s recipes and guidelines, Ensure that all ingredients are properly stored and rotated.
- Proven experience as a Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of food cost control and inventory management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
