Head Chef

The position is open for the restaurants and concepts of Hampstead Group.

Head Chef manages professional kitchen in a dedicated area of restaurants and concepts in UAE, arranging professional environment for chef team work, kitchen operations, food preparation process, ensuring top level product quality & presentation and memorable swift service for the guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages productive chef team performance
• Plans, provides tasks and control to the team members and in-charge
• Directs kitchen operations
• Oversees the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
• Ensures product quality and presentation consistency as per the brand standards
• Ensuring all ingredients meet quality standards
• Ensures efficient and productive supplier management
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Manages equipment and kitchen facility maintenance
• Designs menu specials for dedicated restaurant guest profiles
• Manages inventory, cost and write-off processes
• Communicates and collaborates with Executive chef and Head chef colleagues, commercial and restaurant managers

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant restaurant & cafe experience
• Experience of managing several teams
• Being the leader for a team with strong organisational skills
• Upper-Intermediate English speaking
• Being a positive, self-confident and ambitious person
• All trainings on the company’s standards, operations and stocks management will be provided

Salary: 5000 – 8000 AED (All in One)
