Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer with a solid background in geotechnical engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the UAE, preferably within contracting or shoring companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the geotechnical aspects of our projects are executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments to gather data on soil and rock conditions.
- Analyze and interpret geotechnical data to provide recommendations for foundation design, earthworks, and ground stability.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including findings, analysis, and design recommendations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate geotechnical considerations into project planning and execution.
- Review and assess geotechnical designs and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor construction activities and provide technical support to address any geotechnical issues that arise during the project.
- Ensure all geotechnical work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience in the UAE, with a focus on contracting or shoring projects.
- Proven experience in conducting geotechnical investigations, soil testing, and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of UAE geotechnical regulations, standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and tools.
