Description:

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for a rail project in Dubai.

Education:

Essential: MSc in Geotechnical Engineering

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Knowledge at design of foundation and retaining walls
• Proficient in geotechnical investigation technique
• Settlement calculation and Impact assessment of structures
• Review of earthwork design and shop drawings
• Knowledge of hydrogeology is preferred but not mandatory.
• Coordination with various disciplines like structures, utilities, hydrology etc.
• Coordination with earthwork construction team.
• Manage and coordinate with earthwork sub-contractors.
• Provide design support (geotechnical) to construction team when necessary.
• Review and provide technical inputs for procurement and material quality team.
• Ability to draft technical-contractual letters and provide support to commercial team.
• Experience in railway project
• GCC experience is preferred
