Job Summary

We are looking for an accomplished, empathic general practitioner to join our practice. The general practitioner’s duties include examining patients, diagnosing common illnesses, and administering or prescribing appropriate treatment. You should also be able to address patients’ health-related queries.

To be successful as a general practitioner, you should be able to communicate the gravity of diagnoses while reassuring patients who are in distress. Ultimately, an outstanding General Practitioner will be cognizant of the ways in which mental health influences physical well-being,and will suggest appropriate referrals if necessary.

General Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, documenting findings and updating medical records as necessary.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions regularly, reporting changes to consultants and documenting in progress notes.
  • Provide around-the-clock medical care for inpatients, including responding to emergencies and collaborating with consultants.
  • Communicate effectively with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and orders diagnostic tests as directed by consultants.
  • Document patient interactions, including prescriptions, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay current with emerging medical techniques, procedures, and therapies through ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Comply with Clinical policies, protocols, and procedures, ensuring a safe and effective work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an approved medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • 1 year of internship experience.
  • 1 year of residency training in a recognized program.
  • 1 year of experience as a general practitioner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Current licensure in country of origin and DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
  • Excellent command of English, Hindi both spoken and written.
