Description:

We Are Hiring General Ledger Accountant.

JD:

• Perform month end account closing activities and reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances
• record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions and calculate depreciation for all fixed assets
• Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
• align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting
• Perform accounting analysis for accruals, account payables, account receivables, and inventory.
• support auditor in conducting internal and external audits
• assist in tax preparation and filing activities
• Reconcile modules ledgers with general ledger accounts
• Review financial reports to identify and explain variances
• prepare actual and forecasted cash flow statements
• Adhere to standard accounting principles and company procedures
• Perform accounting analysis and reporting to support decision-making purposes.

Job Objectives:

• Maintain the monthly closing process, provide analytical reports, prepare forecasts, and ensure reconciled ledgers

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Skill Set Required:

• Strong analyticals skills, problem resolution, and a good understanding of accounting functions in accordance with IFRS
• Professional certificate is a plus(CMA, ACCA)
• Advanced proficiency in using MS Excel
• Proficiency in accounting and business management software, preferably Dynamics
• Sharp attention to detail with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication in English
• Ability to prepare Financial statements
