Job Description:

As a General Accountant you will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record keeping across various operations. Your role is pivotal in supporting the finance department by carrying out banking activities, cash deposits, account reconciliation, and VAT filing. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and a commitment to maintaining the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily accounting tasks, including transactions pro cessing and journal entries, to ensure the financial system is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Manage daily banking requirements, cash deposits, and prepare bank reconciliations.

Conduct thorough customer account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns in compliance with UAE tax laws. Support month-end and year-end close
  • Preparing all Sales Commission Invoices and documents required for Developers Coordinating with the Developers for timely commission release.
  • Updating the Sales Report and Employees staff balance
  • Recording and generating invoices and other records via Zoho books

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 year of experience in an accounting role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with VAT filing and basic tax principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the finance departmernt.
