Alchemy is hiring for a G/L Fixed Assets Accountant.

Location: Abu Dhabi

Salary up to AED 25,000 All inclusive

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience:

• More than 5 years of experience in managing, monitoring, and performing professional-level accounting and reporting activities related to GL and Fixed Assets.
• Maintaining financial reporting and accounting of all fixed assets and periodic physical inventories to ensure smooth finance operations.
• Maintains the fixed asset system by supervising the recording of all items in the system, keeping pertinent records, and ensuring adequate treatment of fixed asset acquisitions and retirements.
• Review the provisional Handing Over Certificate for completeness, accuracy, and authorization. Also, matches the Purchase Order with the Delivery Note and Vendor’s Invoice, where applicable.
• Conducts physical verification of fixed assets and accordingly reconciles assets physically verified with the books of accounts.
• Prepares requests for the creation of new general ledger account codes and new vendor or customer accounts; and makes amendments /deletions of accounts when required.
• Performs cost analysis and tracking of projects and works with field offices on placing assets in service.
• Review handling over certificates for new assets and prepare cost calculation for recording investment property at cost as per accounting policy
