Health Connect is expanding, and looking to welcome a new member at our Front Desk

We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Receptionist to join our front-line team.

Job Description:

You will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth day-to-day front desk operations. You will provide excellent customer service, manage patient appointments, enquiries and handle various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments accurately.
  • Manage patient visits, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Handle billing and insurance queries, including verification and processing.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and address any concerns.
  • Maintain the front desk area, keeping it organized and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Dubai healthcare system to assist patients effectively.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and identification details.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required, including managing patient records and handling correspondence.
  • Handle billing, collect payments and handle cash accurately.
  • Follow up with patients for appointments, services and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills in English.
  • Pleasant and approachable personality with a genuine desire to help people.
  • Basic understanding of the Dubai healthcare system and its procedures.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Dubai healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with experience in handling insurance eligibility check.
