Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials, move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, and ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
- Inspect forklifts daily before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines while operating forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory managed.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse and storage areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Good knowledge of industrial storage and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
