We are looking for a Food Safety Executive to join our dynamic team at Notions Group! The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our food safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Food Safety Programs within the company.
  • Lead the effective application of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) programs in the factory.
  • Ensure full compliance with external standards, such as IFS, and take necessary measures to protect consumers, including halting production when necessary.
  • Determine and implement plant-specific food safety training programs.
  • Validate processes and procedures to ensure food safety (OPRP, CCP, micro verification, etc.).
  • Develop and implement a robust microbiological and environmental monitoring program and appropriate sampling plans.
  • Analyze monitoring results and implement corrective and preventive actions for deviations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage the validation of production testing and raw material usage forms.
  • Report on site performance in quality and food safety areas, involving key stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, and R&D to manage changes.
  • Manage incidents and non-conformities (NC) related to food safety, coordinating responses and corrective actions.
  • Lead the Food Defense Team and oversee the operation of the Quality Management System (QMS), including internal audits, continuous improvements, and documentation.
  • Investigate customer and consumer complaints related to food safety, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the food industry, with a preferred specialization in microbiology, food safety, quality systems management, or a related field.
  • In-depth and detailed knowledge of HACCP, ISO, Quality Assurance and Management Systems, Food Microbiology, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
  • Skills in conducting audits (internal/external auditor) of quality management systems and food safety.
  • Practical skills in conducting risk assessments in the field of quality and food safety.
  • Knowledge and experience in using advanced problem-solving tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex information clearly and concisely.
