Description:

We are looking for a Floor Manager for a Casual restaurant/Coffee Shop in Dubai. In this role you would be reporting to the Owner.

Benefits

  • 7500-12000 AED (depending on experience and outcome interview)
  • 500 AED Make Up Allowance
  • You work 6 days a week with 1 day off per week

Role Requirements (Please only apply if you meet ALL the role requirements)

  • Friendly, warm, and sunny natured
  • Must have studied in Europe, South Africa or Australia
  • Previous experience as Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager running a casual restaurant in Dubai. Must have stayed in previous roles at least 2 years.
  • Must be in the UAE and free for a face to face interview and trial shifts
  • Can work under pressure
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Can do attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Day to Day running of the operation
  • Ensure upselling and cross selling practices are followed by the whole service team daily
  • Lead pre-shift briefings, effectively communicating daily specials, promotions, and any pertinent information to the waitstaff
  • Be aware about the daily sales targets, and ensure it is met by the cafe team
  • Ensuring all staff comply with the company policies
  • Building and putting procedures in place (SOP management)
  • Training the team to follow procedures
  • Maintaining safety and food quality standards
  • Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
  • Organizing staff schedules and track working hours
  • Holding the budget for ordering staying within budget limitations
  • Following expenses closely
  • Engage with customers to obtain feedback on the service and food qualities
  • Involve, organize, and coordinate with the wider team any private events, pop dinners or catering events
  • Actively monitor and manage inventory for front-of-house retail and vendors ensuring optimal visual merchandising and stock levels
  • Be a strong member in the management team and connect with other departments, support, inspire and collaborate
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
