Description:

We are hiring a Flight Operation Officer / Coordinator for a private operation based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Candidate profile:

Meticulous, responsible aviation enthusiast, who ensures that flights are handled from A to Z in the safest and most efficient way and has excellent communication skills and team spirit.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• To ensure the day-to-day running of the company flight operations
• To be in-charge of monitoring flight schedules and movement messages.
• To communicate changes in flight schedules to flight crew and passengers
• To follow safety and security standards and reports any breaches.
• To verify if requirements are met by the crew in terms of route, area, and aerodrome knowledge for the planned flights.
• To ensure that the necessary handling requests and airport slots are coordinated and confirmed to carry out the flight.
• To certify that all necessary diplomatic and over-flight clearances are obtained to carry out the flight.

Skills requirements:

• A comprehensive knowledge of flight operational requirements and procedures.
• The AOC holder’s operations specifications.
• Knowledge of management systems.
• A good command of Word and Excel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
