Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Supervisor to oversee our fleet operations and ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of our vehicles and drivers.

Job Description:

• Coordinate the deployment and routing of vehicles to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Monitor vehicle usage and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries or service.
• Schedule regular vehicle maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend fleet life.
• Liaise with mechanics and workshops for timely repairs.
• Ensure fleet operations comply with local traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records for vehicle registration, insurance, maintenance, and inspections.
• Supervise drivers, addressing performance issues and providing training as necessary.
• Create driver schedules and manage time-off requests to maintain operational coverage.
• Monitor and control fleet expenses, including fuel consumption, repairs, and vehicle replacements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency measures.
• Use GPS and fleet management systems to track vehicle locations and driver behavior.
• Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, fuel usage, and operational costs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and tools is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities to manage a team effectively.
• Understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
