About the Client: Our Client is a dynamic and innovative Facility Management Company, in Abu Dhabi, committed to delivering exceptional services. They are seeking enthusiastic and results-driven individuals to join their team as Fit Out Engineer.
Position Overview:
The Fit Out Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction industry, specializing in the planning, coordination, and execution of interior spaces within buildings. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen eye for design aesthetics. Fit Out Engineers ensure that interior spaces not only meet functional requirements but also align with architectural designs and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tiles installation (ceramic, porcelain, wood parquet, marble, interlock/pasco, etc.)
- Painting (internal & external using various types of paint acrylic, epoxy, etc.)
- Carpentry & Joinery (doors & bedroom wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, windows, aluminum frames, etc.)
- Air-conditioning units repair & replacement (split A/C, package units, extract fans, compressors, etc.)
- Electrical (install new DB, new lighting/power socket lines, LED lights, etc.)
- Plumbing (sanitary ware replacement WC, washbasin, bathtub of all types, booster & transfer pump lines, water tanks replacement, etc.)
- He shall be able to promptly identify skilled personnel for new projects, including but not limited to masons, painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers etc.
- Well versed with all major material brands and suppliers; knows how to source them at the best possible price.
- Cost Control: very conscious of controlling project costs within budget.
- Knowledgeable of basic occupational health & safety (HSE) site requirements
- Experienced in working with subcontractors such as Fire, Elevator, Automatic Gates, CCTV & Access Control, etc.
- Able to read & understand CAD drawings for Civil & MEP systems.
Familiar with Abu Dhabi Municipality permit requirements.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
- At least 5 years UAE experience in interior fit out
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook for the creation of quotations, completion reports
