We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company and ensuring financial compliance. The role involves a variety of tasks including reconciliations, budget planning, cash flow forecasting, and management accounts.
Additionally, the Financial Manager will be involved in analytical duties, bank reconciliations, invoice structuring, and tax calculations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop and maintain the company’s budget and financial forecasts
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Perform analytical duties to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Manage cash flow by monitoring bank balances and cash forecasts
- Coordinate with banks for fund transfers and other financial transactions
- Structure invoices and ensure timely payment processing
- Calculate and file taxes in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders
- Assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Manage the outsourced team for accounting. This function can be potentially moved in-house.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
- 2 years of experience in the same role or function in Dubai or Abu-Dhabi.
- Fluent English. Arabic is a plus but not required.
- Understanding of the business of HoReCa is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with internal stakeholdes: management, legal, multiple vendors
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel & Word.
