Hiring Financial Analyst Operations

Number of positions available: 1

Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:

• Perform financial reporting and support monthly P&L analysis and operational planning based on forecasts
• Facilitate financial review meetings with operational departments and work with operations managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
• Engage with vendors or service providers to review, negotiate and streamline cost
• Measuring and monitoring of metrics for new operations initiatives
• Assist in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the operational team in a timely manner
• Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with operational leaders on actionable items for improving cost metrics
• Perform ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling including activity-based costing. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions, and planned future initiatives
• Partnering with business improvement team to develop strategic long term operating initiatives
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls,
• Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended both internally and externally.
• Serve as team lead for medium and large-scale projects.
• Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.
• Lead cross-functional systems and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with strong analytical acumen
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience with relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results
• Experience in consumer-oriented business finance roles
• Excellent level in English, Arabic would be a plus.
