About The Role

As a Finance Specialist I at Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions, you will join a collaborative team responsible for managing the financial operations that support children and families across the North Texas area. While the role offers remote flexibility, you’ll work closely with your team and external partners to ensure smooth, accurate, and compliant financial processes.

Location: Remote

Average Hourly Rate: $18.00 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, and shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external client agencies
  • Enter complete and accurate financial data into the organization’s systems
  • Track and manage vendor invoices and payment records
  • Prepare and review monthly financial worksheets for community care providers
  • Ensure accuracy in agency payments and invoice submissions
  • Provide confidential information to care providers regarding reimbursement
  • Assist in resolving financial disputes promptly and professionally
  • Support the accounting team in managing accounts receivable, payable, and payroll
  • Respond to financial reports requested by regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulation

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of general accounting experience or equivalent
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency underwriting standards
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Schedule: Full-time, flexible scheduling available
