Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings.
• Lead and supervise a team of junior accountants.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Stay up to date with UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role in the UAE.
• Minimum 3 years experience in Engineering / Contracting / MEP Companies.
• CBA certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in UAE accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and managerial capabilities.
