We are looking for Finance Associate.
The purpose of the Finance Associate is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports, facilitate effective financial planning and analysis, and support the organization in achieving its financial objectives.
Responsibilities
Managerial Responsibilities
- Manage accurate and timely preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements
- Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve company goals.
- Manage the preparation of budget, report variances and presenting to management.
- Manage the preparation of cash flow and reforecast and presenting to management.
- Ensuring business processes and accounting policies are properly maintained and strong internal controls are in place to ensure accuracy of data.
- Monitor, analyse and ensure accuracy of day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage and ensure compliance and preparation of VAT filings.
- Manage and analysing revenue, expenses, cash flows, balance sheet, Opex and Capex budgets as part of management reporting.
- Preparing adhoc decks as requested by management and assist in decision making.
- Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
- Liaising with external and internal auditors, Banks, FTA, and other UAE regulatory bodies
- Leading and maintaining relationship with external parties
- Treasury and cash management
- Manage and ensure compliance and preparation of VAT filings.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and financial statements.
- Record and manage all accounting transactions in the company books.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform regular and monthly reconciliations of bank statements and financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly cashflow statement.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and responsible for preparation financial statements.
- Conduct month-end, quarter -end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax filings.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support for quarterly and year end audit.
- Maintain fixed asset records and manage depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide support for special financial projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Finance/ Business Administration, or equivalent.
