Field Sales Engineer – Industrial Pollution Control Filter Bags & Cement components
The Sales Engineer has to serve as a key member of the Industrial Sales Team and will be responsible for the business of our filtration products and applications in the Base Business market segment in UAE & other countries.
This is a critical position for a sales professional with experience in the filtration industry.
Product line includes Nonwoven Pulse Jet Filter Bags, Envelope Type Bags, Woven Glass Pulse Jet Bags & Woven Glass Reverse Air Bags.
Job Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of this position is Technical Sales and includes applications engineer – interpreting a customer’s requirements, designing a solution, and successfully marketing the company’s products.
- This person is responsible for supporting the Sales/Marketing Team by generating leads, setting qualified appointments, and communicating with the end user to help close the sale.
- Provides Monthly business performance status reports in agreed format and to the defined reporting schedule
- Close co-operation with Customer Service to ensure all Customer enquiries, orders, invoices and complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively
- Organizes regular training/promotional events for Customers, Distributors and OEM’s to create brand and technical awareness
- Ensures he/she maintains a high level of expertise knowledge of all Applications and trends.
- Ensures he/she is fully equipped with all available Sales tools; demonstrators, electronic presentations, literature etc…
Requirements:
- A Commercial, technical / Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical) university degree or equivalent and having min. 5 years experience in the Cement Sales & in Filtration sales.
- Knowledge of general computer use (MS Office, internet browsing, email, etc.)
- Ability to speak in a professional, pleasant manner over the phone
- Understanding of product specifications and production processes.
- Ability to work self-dependent and autonomous in the day-to-day activity with a “hands on” style
- Proven excellent communication skills and negotiation capabilities as well as presentation skills.
- Strong motivation, positive attitude and professional behavior.
- To place maximum call a day and successfully schedule max. Appointments per week.
- Willingness to travel frequently
