Hiring Expediter

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Expediter with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a reputable company within the Oil & Gas sector. Additionally, proficiency in Oracle with at least 5 years of hands-on experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments according to production and procurement schedules.
  • Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements or priorities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Track progress of orders and ensure timely delivery by communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise regarding shipping or delivery delays.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
  • Utilize Oracle systems to track orders, inventory, and logistics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an expediter or similar role within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Oracle ERP system with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of global logistics.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
