Events Production Manager: Reporting to the Project Manager, the Events Production Manager will be responsible for the research, development, design, production and delivery of allocated events. The Events Production Manager will also be responsible for working with the Project Manager to deliver the events produced by the Events Team as a whole. The role will focus on developing and delivering the work with internal departments and external vendors to plan and implement a variety of live events by providing content, technical, and logistical support
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The research, development, design, production and delivery of allocated.
- Working with the Senior Events Production Manager to deliver the event and any other events delivered by the Events Team.
- Budget planning, new supplier sourcing, contract negotiations and identifying new revenue /sponsorship opportunities.
- Producing all relevant production paperwork including but not limited to site plans, event management plans, safety and emergency plans.
- Booking and managing casual staff assisting with events and ensures that they are fully briefed.
- Liaising with statutory / Council services and contractors for the delivery of event productions including but not limited to the following: Environmental Services, Building Control, Highways & Parking, Waste Management, Emergency Services, Public transport operators, Security & First Aid contractors, Grounds Maintenance contractors, and Service and equipment suppliers.
- Acting as the appointed site manager and assisting with the physical set up and dismantling of events, including the management of contractors and suppliers and the distribution and return of events equipment / stores and vehicles as required.
