Event Sales Manager Required in Dubai
Role and Responsibilities:
Our Event Security Department – ranging across the spectrum of corporate events (International Jazz Festival, Dubai International Boat Show ,Swim around the Burj, Taste of Dubai, The Dubai World Cup, Dubai Summer Surprise, Al Gaffal Dhow Race, National Day Celebrations, Rugby Sevens, Shopping Festival etc) and end-to-end consumer events (such as weddings, baby showers, anniversary celebrations).
The requirements for this role are therefore,
- Bring Events, achieve growth and sales targets successfully by managing the team.
- Meeting planned sales goals for all major Events happening in UAE.
- Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth, including identifying new markets for existing or developing new Services for untapped Event markets.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationships by partnering with the Event Organizers/clients and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management regarding Event Sales.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new Events and competition status.
- Understand our ideal Event customers, Event Organizers and how they relate to our services.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience as an event coordinator and organizing successful events
- Excellent communication and client handling skills – this role will directly interface with company high value clients
- Excellent vendor management skills – explaining vendor requirements, setting quality and service expectations, negotiating prices, and ensuring delivery of requirements as per commitments (all this while building a long-term relationship with these vendors)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field (preferred)
Experience:
- 5 years’ Experience in Event Management company in Dubai.
- Valid UAE Driving License- LMV
Language:
- English (Required)
- Arabic or French or Spanish (Preferred)
