Description:

We are urgently looking (hiring) for dynamic Estimator highly motivated & Energetic individual, having passion for bright career and growth to be a part of our growing team.

As an Estimator you will be responsible for preparing BOQ & Estimates of display stands, kiosks, Exhibition stands etc. manufactured in our facility using various materials i.e., wood, acrylic, metal. LED lights etc. You must have a strong working knowledge of all aspects of production with different materials, painting, electrical, LED lighting etc.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing BOQ’s and Estimates from concept sketches.
• Working closely with Production team.
• Ability to Prepares estimates from proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Compute costs by analyzing Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.
• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour, and equipment.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
• Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.
• Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers.
• Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.

Requirements:

• UAE/GCC working experience as QS/Estimator in Events, Exhibitions, or interior fit-out company.
• Strong Negotiation and analyzation skills to obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attentive to every detail, ability handle pressure to meet deadline.
• Be well versed with the raw materials the company uses.
• Be well versed with the market prices.
• Have moderate knowledge of AutoCAD & SketchUp.
• Have excellent knowledge in using Microsoft office applications- especially #excel.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• At least two years’ experience as an Estimator in Interior Fit out Company / production company of similar nature.
