Hiring Estimation Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities:

• LV Panels Expertise: Experience in MDB, SMDB, PFC, MCC, FDB, Synchronizing Panels, and automation & control panel.
• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with IEC, ADQCC, DEWA, FEWA, and SEWA standards.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Solution Development: Ability to develop optimal and economical solutions for switchgear projects.

Key Duties:

• Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates for LV Switchgear Panels.
• Read and interpret technical drawings & specifications.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering Teams to understand client requirements.
• Possess strong knowledge of LV Switchgear components and systems.
• Understand and comply with industry standards and regulations (IEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Prepare technical documents and quotations for Oil and Gas projects.
• Prepare Compliance Statements & Deviation Lists.
• Review and prepare bills of materials (BOMs).
• Conduct value engineering for cost-effective solutions.
• Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• Education: BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years of work experience as an LV Estimation Engineer with UAE-based Panel builders.
