Description:
We are seeking a skilled Estimation Engineer with expertise in Civil Engineering, particularly in piling projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in estimating for civil engineering projects, with a strong focus on piling. This role involves analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, collaborating with stakeholders, and preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
- Collaborate with Clients, Consultants, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process.
- Analyze historical data and industry trends to inform cost estimates.
- Present and defend cost estimates to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Participate in bid reviews and negotiations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in civil engineering estimation, with a focus on piling projects.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
