Description:

Hiring Environmental Supervisor

• Job Type: Contract
• Contract length: 10 months
• Must have his/ her own vehicle and valid UAE driver’s license
• Conducting inspections of work sites for compliance with Project CEMP and DUBAI environmental regulations
• Participating on weekly site walk down with 3rd party to verify CEMP compliance
• Follow up and closure weekly site inspections noncompliance’s
• Preparing and participating on IFC audit, follow up and closure of findings,
• Preparing quarterly EPR for DM,
• Determining the best ways to meet business goals whilst protecting the environment
• Monitoring contractors’ performance to ensure compliance with their environmental management plan
• Reviewing applications for permits and issuing them when appropriate
• Maintaining records of environmental data, such as water quality, samples, noise survey testing etc.
• Coordinating with contractors to ensure environmental meetings, drills, toolbox talks etc. are being carried out
• Preparing reports that detail findings and recommendations, which may then by reviewed by other members of the team
• IEMA qualified
