Key Responsibilities:
An English Instructor is responsible for teaching English language skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and listening, to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. They create lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide guidance to improve their language abilities. The role may include teaching English as a second language (ESL), academic English, or business English depending on the institution’s requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent certification for ESL teaching.
Experience:
- Previous teaching experience (preferred but not always required for entry-level positions).
- Experience with diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds is an advantage.
Skills:
