About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated and personable E-commerce Concierge Agent to connect with our brand partners’ customers, build relationships, and recover lost revenue through conversational sales techniques. This is an opportunity to help launch and grow an innovative human-powered AI, high-touch SMS platform while playing a key role in driving sales growth for our e-commerce brand partners.
This is a full-time, 3-month remote contract position with the potential for long-term employment, with a schedule of Thursday–Monday, 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. PT / 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. ET.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop Sales-Driven Strategies: Develop and implement tailored strategies to enhance client engagement, maximize sales opportunities, and increase conversions through meaningful customer conversations that align with brand goals.
- Engage Customers to Drive Revenue: Provide high-quality, personalized interactions with customers in a dynamic multitasking environment, utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful connections and convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Proactively Identify Sales Opportunities: Proactively reach out to customers to anticipate needs, address potential issues, and provide solutions that enhance their overall experience while focusing on upselling products or services to boost revenue growth.
- Build Relationships That Drive Loyalty: Enthusiastically build and maintain customer relationships while adhering to brand voice and product knowledge, ensuring every interaction contributes to customer retention and repeat purchases.
- Collaborate to Optimize Sales Processes: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in internal systems, report issues within the concierge dashboard, and suggest improvements that streamline operations and enhance sales performance.
- Leverage AI Tools for Sales Success: Utilize AI tools to deliver accurate, timely, and on-brand messaging to customers, ensuring consistent communication that supports sales objectives and builds trust with customers.
- Cross-Functional Problem Solving: Collaborate with various teams to identify, report, and resolve issues within the concierge dashboard and other systems while identifying gaps in internal processes and helping implement improvements
Who You Are:
- Sales-Focused Customer Experience: 2+ years in sales, customer engagement, or similar customer-facing roles, ideally in luxury, high-touch, or fast-paced environments such as retail, hospitality, or online support. Proven ability to drive conversions or upsell products is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Remote Collaboration: Adept at working remotely while building strong relationships with teammates in virtual environments. Skilled at fostering team cohesion through collaboration tools like Slack and video conferencing while maintaining productivity across multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with CRM Systems & Tools is a Plus: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk), ticketing systems (e.g., Trello, Jira), and collaboration tools like Slack that enhance customer engagement and sales tracking workflows is desirable but not mandatory.
- Exceptional Communicator: Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills tailored to effectively engage with diverse audiences while maintaining focus on achieving sales targets.
- Proactive and Resourceful: Takes initiative with a positive attitude and demonstrates curiosity about products, industry trends, and customer needs while identifying opportunities for additional revenue generation during customer interactions.
- Customer-Centric Sales Advocate: Polite, empathetic, patient, and trustworthy, with a passion for customer care paired with the ability to make people feel at ease while adhering to our brand partners’ voice and tone during sales-focused conversations.
- Adaptable & Open to Feedback: Flexible in navigating fast-paced environments while being receptive to constructive feedback that fosters continuous improvement in both personal performance and team processes.
- Familiarity with eCommerce Platforms: Experience working with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, WooCommerce) is a plus.
