Job Description:
As a hashtag#Draftsman at i2D Interiors, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in the interior fitout industry in the UAE and possess strong drafting skills using relevant software.
Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to understand design concepts and specifications. Develop detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.
AutoCAD Proficiency:
Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to create accurate and detailed drawings. Stay updated on the latest software enhancements and incorporate them into the drafting process.
Material and Product Specifications:
Collaborate with the procurement team to incorporate material and product specifications into the drawings. Ensure accuracy in dimensions, materials, and finishes.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular reviews of drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other members of the design and project teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Participate in design meetings and provide technical input as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all drawings and revisions. Assist in the preparation of drawing sets for client presentations and project submissions.
Requirements:
- Proven UAE experience as a Draftsman in the interior fitout industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills.
