COSL Middle East is searching for a Document Controller to join our team in Dubai with the ability to communicate in Mandarin.

The Document Controller reports to the Admin Manager providing support for the development, maintenance, implementation and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System. The IMS Document Controller is the System Administrator for all the Company Intranet and Databases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The duties assigned are varied; these will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Perform document control of the Integrated Management System. Including managing document revisions, approvals, document names and numbers.
  • Maintain the Intranet Site by posting and updating documents and information.
  • Identify and suggest solutions to gaps in the Integrated Management System.
  • Create and support maintenance of management system documents and procedures coordinating with various document owners as required.
  • Perform System Administrator functions for QHSE Databases and the Company Intranet.
  • Develop and implement strategies for ensuring the latest versions of IMS Documents are being continuously used in all CME locations.
  • Provide support for monitoring, maintaining and implementing the Integrated Management Systems to ensure compliance in accordance with applicable regulatory agencies (e.g. IADC, ISO, local governments, etc.).
  • Contribute to and support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 audit and certification process.
  • Compilation and creation of weekly and monthly reports on document control.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Science, Human Resources or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management and Training.
  • Experience in, or exposure to, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 international standards are desirable.
  • Good computer skills in Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases.
  • Strong commitment to safety, risk management and training.
  • Experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment preferred, but not essential.
  • High level of competence in written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin
