Job Overview

Deal Desk Specialists I assist with the Deal Desk Process related to Sales Quotes and Contracts, working in conjunction with other Deal Desk Team Members and external departments such as Finance, Sales, Legal, Product and Systems as necessary. The Deal Desk Specialist I will use Netsuite and Salesforce to build and verify quotes, create proposals and sale-related documents and send for signature on deals submitted by Sales Account Executives. Responsibilities and training are varied back on individual skill set and experience. Each deal will be completed within Deal Desk’s official SLA requirements.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Utilizing Net Health’s enterprise systems (currently Salesforce and NetSuite), review and process incoming deal requests from the Sales department ensuring the Quote Build, Data and paperwork are accurate, complete and consistent with Net Health contracting policies and processes.
  • Follow up with Sales and external departments to clarify on submitted deals to Deal Desk as needed.
  • Using Salesforce, create Proposal Documents and Legal Paperwork for all Quotes Submitted to Deal Desk.
  • Interact with Sales, Finance and Legal department to ensure / facilitate execution of quotes and contracts within Salesforce, providing assistance as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance as requested by other members of the Deal Desk department, including, without limitation, understanding and researching contract related terms, questions or clarifications, as needed.
  • Assist the Deal Desk department with other external department projects as requested.

    Trained and considered an expert in at least 1 of Deal Desk’s internal processes:

  • Quote Building
  • Finance Check
  • Legal Check
  • Cancellations
  • SARs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong research, communication and writing skills to communicate and build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Must be very skilled in computer applications and have a general understanding and related competency in enterprise-wide systems (such as Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar software).
  • Cooperate with matrixed team members to meet goals or complete tasks.
  • Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations.
  • Must be self-motivated and know when to seek guidance; detail-orientation is a must.
  • Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
