The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for providing the technical expertise to

Implement Informatica’s best practices and guidelines in the space of Data Quality, Data

Cataloguing, Data Governance, and other foundational data capabilities.

As A Data Governance Specialist You Will:

• Support Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and emerging tech products – EDC, Axon,DEI/DEQ, IICS etc.
• Proactively work with the team on managing and monitoring customer environments
• Develop, test, and deploy data quality & governance solutions
• Support enhancement on the different areas of implemented product/s
• Document and review requirements, services requests, enhancements, operational activities, technical and specifications changes
• Coordinate Informatica upgrades and installation related areas
• Analyze Informatica Data Governance/Catalog emerging tech products – EDC, Axon, IDQ use cases and determine ways to improve current product adoption
• Conducts system architecture evaluation in customer’s Informatica Data Governance environment and collaborates with Informatica cross-functional teams to review and provide the architecture recommendations.
• Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed solutions/approach to solve the technical issues in Informatica Data Governance/Catalog Products.
• Work closely with Customers on solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation for customers Data Governance/Catalog requirements.

Our ideal data governance specialist will have:

• Overall experience of at least 6 years and with minimum of more than 2 years of experience on Informatica products.
• 5+ years of experience with Data Quality and/or Data Integration projects
• Expert-level skills in Informatica DG implementation – Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and/or Axon
• Experience in performance tuning of Informatica Products and sizing of environment
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and/or database management skills in Oracle/SQL Server
• Expert-level skills in Informatica Data Quality
• Data Profiling
• Data cleansing and Data Standardization
• Address Doctor Configuration
• Match and Consolidation
• Exception Data Management
• Reference Data Management
• Knowledge on IDQ Integration with other Informatica Products (Power Center, Axon,EDC)
