Essential Functions

 JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Point Entry – Daily entry from policy declaration page and rating worksheets into system. Each program Point table is different and requires extensive training from manager.
  • Transaction Handling – Each policy is checked during the entry process for correct forms, rating is checked and previous year policy is looked at during the entry process.
  • Report Handling – Departmental reporting is done weekly to maintain skill set of data entry associates. Also reporting on specific programs that are regulated by SOX to home office.
  • System/Software Skills – must stay current with changes in Point system.
  • Policy Entry Audit – Every 10 th policy is audited by department manager.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional manner

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required To Perform Essential Funcitons

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a data entry, administrative and/or clerical role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 95% and above accuracy in data entry skills.
  • Sit, stand, walk/ambulatory.
  • Ability to lift 10 pounds.

Pay Range

Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate’s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market, and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $33,900 and $56,600.
