We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, handling a diverse range of tasks from processing customer applications to maintaining accurate customer records. You will have the opportunity to showcase and develop your skills in areas such as customer service, data entry, email correspondence and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently process customer credit applications.
  • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
  • Perform calculations as part of data entry processes.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to organize files and data.
  • Maintain effective email correspondence with customers and team members.
  • Carry out scanning tasks to digitize physical documents.
  • Demonstrate excellent typing skills to ensure efficient data entry.
  • Use your 10 Key Skills to accurately input numerical data.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Thorough understanding of 10 Key skills for data entry and calculations
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries
  • Proficiency in email correspondence, ensuring clear and professional communication
  • Solid understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to organize files systematically for easy access and retrieval
  • Experience in performing various types of calculations accurately
  • Proficiency in using scanning equipment for digitizing physical documents
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, ideally with touch typing skills
  • Ability to work independently and also contribute positively to a team
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive data
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions when required
  • Willingness to continuously update skills and knowledge as required.
