Hiring Data Engineer / BI Developer

Job Location – Dubai, UAE

Contract – 3 months extendable to long term.

Exp – 10+ years

Notice Pd – Immediate to 15 days.

JD:

• Experience in creating BI solutions, software development, training and report automaton.
• Motivated and result driven Data Engineer or SQL/BI Developer having build BI Applications, Data Warehouse projects using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, Power BI, SSAS Tabular Cube, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, Scala, Python .
• Create CI/CD pipeline for deploying project to test and prod environment.
• Create CI/CD pipeline for deploying project to test and prod environment.
• Cr ng ADF Pipeline to execute and schedule work flows.
• Develop and manage power bi report. • Strong knowledge in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Visualizations, Power BI Service). • Expert in implementing Row Level Security in Power BI to restrict data specific to users.
• Managing Gateways to keep the reports up to date by scheduling Power BI report.
• Writing data back to SQL Server, Share Point List or Excel backend using Power BI and Power Apps.
• Create custom Visual for Power BI using D3.js
• Creating & Running Power Automate Flows from Power BI to automate ac vi es
• Creating logic app – To auto generate pdf files for Power BI report. – To trigger email on ADF Failure.
• To trigger email to users upon major increase or decrease in KPI’s value.
• Creating Rest API end points using Node, Azure SQL Database and Express.
• Using Rest API in Power App to expose data to business users as a self service.
• Imporving data from Rest APIs end point into Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing including Star and Snowflake Schema concepts.
• Connec ng Power BI to SAP and create reports in Power BI.
• Query op miza on and performance tuning.
• Expert in DWH concepts.
