We are seeking a Cybersecurity Lead to join our team in Dubai. As the Cybersecurity Lead, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the cybersecurity strategy for our products and services. You will take a comprehensive and holistic approach to cybersecurity, based on international standards, regulations, security best practices, and a secure-by-design methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and control cybersecurity program.
• Plan and execute cybersecurity initiatives.
• Conduct cybersecurity threat and risk analysis.
• Work with Security-as-a-Service providers
• Perform research, testing, evaluation, and deployment of security technology and procedures.
• Develop and implement information security standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest intrusion methods and develop protection plans.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Detect insecure features and malicious activities within our networks and infrastructure.
• Manage security incidents.
• Conduct security awareness campaigns.
• Regular reporting of cybersecurity performance and systems status
• Develop and maintain close working and technical relationships with internal and external technology stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years’ experience as Cybersecurity Lead
• Experience in Fintech/set up of a start-up.
• Good understanding of cross-functional strategic projects, across Commercial and Operations areas
• Strong decision-making capabilities
• Ability to rapidly interpret, integrate and synthesize information.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• High level of personal drive, positive attitude, initiative and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset
