Overview:
Sentara Health is currently seeking a full-time remote Customer Service Representative I for the Pharmacy Call Center.
Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 6:00PM EST (must be able to work within listed hours)
Overview
Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries from members or patients. Primarily responsible for handling incoming calls to effectively address issues related to either member eligibility, plan prescription benefits, and claim payment issues or patient services needs such as updating billing information, establishing payment plans, resolving payment inquiries, or patient scheduling.
This position is a vital position to the Pharmacy team as the person is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the department including being a resource to supporting our Member and Providers with pharmacy related inquiries. This is the position that is primarily responsible for:
- Support for Pharmacy Call Center’s various Commercial lines of business
- Education of consumer benefits.
- Issue resolution
- Collaboration with Rx Concierge and other Call Centers
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
- Customer Service – 2 years Required
- Previous data entry experience Required
- Call center experience Highly Preferred
