Hiring Cost Control Manager

Requirements:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on project costs for large-scale construction projects.
  • Develop and manage detailed project budgets and cost control plans for multiple phases of construction.
  • Perform variance analysis to identify deviations between budgeted and actual costs, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Validate project-related expenses, including petty cash, non-PO-based expenses, and supplier payments.
  • Assess supplier performance, credit facilities, and credit periods to optimize financial efficiency.
  • Work closely with project teams to track progress and ensure cost performance aligns with project timelines.
  • Prepare regular reports on cost performance, profit margins, and project cash flow for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure costs align with contractual terms, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Review and audit project expenses to confirm compliance with applicable financial and contractual regulations.
  • Ensure accurate valuation and monitoring of inventory utilized in construction projects.
  • Oversee fixed asset management, including recording, monitoring, and maintaining assets at project sites.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasts.

  • Extensive understanding of the construction project lifecycle, cost drivers, and industry-specific risks.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Expertise in budgeting, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
