Hiring Cost Control Engineer

Job Description:

• To be responsible of monitoring and controlling the project total expenditure as well as verifying the invoices/claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors and all other types of project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• Perform project cost related reporting for the management’s review on a regular basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Maintain regular cost analysis of actual cost vs. BOQ cost.
• Maintain, monitor and control project budgets and issue variance reports on monthly basis.
• This includes analysis of Subcontractor involved or to be involved in the project and confirms that the actual subcontractor costs to be within the budgeted costs.
• This will require the candidate to be able to prepare a cost control report which includes standard PMI indicators (i.e. CV, SV, CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC, and TPCI), reconciliation sheet, liability schedule, manpower and Equipment histogram and productivity rate analysis.
• Expert/Advance in Excel. Preferably with knowledge in Macros and ERP. Basic knowledge in Primavera is required.
• Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer in Civil Construction/Road and Infrastructure Projects in UAE.
