As they continue to expand their presence in the dynamic market, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join their legal team.

Job Description:

As a Corporate Lawyer you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and providing strategic legal advice to support the investment activities. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal partners to navigate complex legal issues and contribute to the success of investment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments in Dubai and the broader United Arab Emirates.
  • Ensure the company’s activities align with applicable legal requirements and standards.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including investment agreements, joint ventures, partnerships, and other legal documents.
  • Assess legal implications and risks associated with contracts and propose appropriate mitigations.
  • Conduct legal due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
  • Identify and communicate legal risks and opportunities associated with investment transactions.
  • Advice on corporate governance matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of board resolutions, meeting minutes, and other corporate documents.
  • Provide legal guidance in resolving disputes and conflicts related to investments.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary to represent the company’s interests in legal proceedings.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, operations, and investment teams, to provide legal support throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, government authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Duties:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law.
  • 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney in the UAE.
  • Track record of providing legal counsel in a corporate environment.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in legal environments and regulations.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
