E Source is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee the financial operations of the company. This role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and strategic financial planning. The Corporate Controller will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, optimizing processes to support business growth, and supporting strategic financial initiatives, including acquisitions and integrations.

The outgoing Controller will train his replacement for up to six weeks before moving to his new role and he will continue to be available as needed afterwards, ensuring a smooth handoff and continued support

What You’ll Do
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review corporate financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and key financial reports.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606.
- Manage external audits and coordinate tax compliance efforts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Assist FP&A with budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to drive business performance.
- Develop financial models and reports to improve operational efficiency.
Cash & Treasury Management
- Review and oversee company-wide cash activity.
- Manage aged accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
- Set up and manage corporate credit card requests and authorizations.
- Manage corporate banking relationships.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
- Establish best practices for financial operations and reporting.
- Implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Acquisitions & Integration
- Lead financial integration efforts for acquisitions
- Oversee financial reporting and trial balance preparation for acquired entities.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition and project accounting for acquired companies.
What Will Make You a Good Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience managing financial audits, tax compliance, and corporate treasury functions.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
- Experience in acquisitions and financial integrations
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (NetSuite Experience is a Plus)
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.

The budgeted salary for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 USD + annual bonus up to 30%. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
This role will be 100% remote.
